Bon Jovi night…I have died and gone to heaven…ahhh

I dated a Jon Bon Jovi look alike/wannabe in High School, he was just as fine as the real thing, hair and all (he took longer to get ready than I did –hehe)…tonight brought back a lot of yummy memories!!!

Phil Stacy did Blaze of Glory, not one of my favorites…but he was great. I kind of agree with Simon that there was no authenticity, but how can you mess with Jovi?

Jordin Sparks came out with Livin’ On A Prayer -she looked the part of rocker chick and brought some great rocker ‘tude with it. Jordin is like a chameleon she can assume any genre and sing it as if each were her specialty. What a pro to accept that this was just not her strong suit very humbly. I didn't think she was that bad, but America loves humble… I’d love it if she won. Jon was soooo cute while working with her! What a great guy…I am so jealous!!! I <3 Jon.

LaKisha chose This Ain’t A Love Song…I think it really helped that this was not a big Jovi signature hit, but she was as always awesome. I don’t think she sold it like Johnny could have, but she’s not going home.

Blake Lewis dyed his hair! Right of the block I didn’t like that…it’s not a fashion contest, but still looks play a part in image an like-ability. His performance was the most brilliant and original in idol history. What an artist! He’s one who is so good I don’t want him to win because I think he might have more freedom if he isn’t under contract with Idol or Stage 19. This guy needs creative control. I look forward to what he’ll churn out after Idol is over...oh yeah, his song was You Give Love A Bad Name...and he REALLY made it his own!!!

Chris Richardson…how fitting that my boyfriend be performing Bon Jovi, knowing what a raging crush I have on the man, LOL! Wanted Dead or Alive my alltime favorite song!!! If Justin Timberlake and Jon Bon Jovi could have a baby…the baby would be Chris Richardson…crazy, brilliant, sexy, smoldering, talent…Oh, what a night!

Melinda Dolittle chose Have A Nice Day. She is so cute! Her version was way better, in my opinion. Bon Jovi should let her re-record it as her own single.
