Tim Raines, one of my favorite High School friends, would call me or come over at night to tell me this:

Goodnight, sleeptight,
Don't let the bed bugs bite.
And if they do
Take off your shoe
And beat'em till they're black and blue.

(I always wondered why you would have your shoes on in bed, but anyway...)

Tim...wherever you are, I hope you are well and life is good, you meant so much to me and I don't think I ever told you that I loved you.
